About Us
Join us as we embark on a journey to uncover the wonders of emergency medicine, inspiring the next generation of EM leaders
Following discussions with Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) members from McGill, a few gaps were identified in our current undergraduate medical curriculum in terms of providing students with the opportunity to explore the fast-paced world of emergency medicine. It was pointed out that McGill does not have any conferences dedicated to emergency medicine.

We aimed to bridge this gap by fostering the exchange of research within the EM community, empowering students to share their findings and insights. Our mission is to cultivate a passion for emergency medicine early on, kindling enthusiasm among undergraduate medical students for this captivating field.
Our Purpose
Our mission at McGill Emergency Medicine Conference (MEMC) is to ignite curiosity and passion among undergraduate medical students to explore the diverse realms of emergency medicine. Through captivating talks led by experts in their respective fields, interactive workshops offering hands-on experiences, engaging Q&A sessions, invaluable networking opportunities, and a platform for presenting and discovering groundbreaking research, we aim to empower students with insights into the multifaceted world of emergency medicine.
